  3. DETAILED DESCRIPTION:  Hacker is a multi-function utility that allows 
  4.                        programmers to create more powerful batch files.  
  5.                        Some functions communicate with DOS and the operator 
  6.                        through the Errorlevel. Other functions change the 
  7.                        cursor definition and find hidden files.  Other 
  8.                        functions modify ascii files.  For a complete 
  9.                        description of the functions, please see HACKER.DOC.

  11. INTENDED USER:         Programmers of DOS batch files.

  13. IMPROVEMENTS:          ver 1.1: Bugs impairing use with EGA/VGA & 386/486 
  14.                                 resolved.  Several sounds added. 
  15.                        ver 1.2: Bugs relating to display on Compaq and 
  16.                                 Eagle resolved, also relating to device 
  17.                                 specifiaction.  Fix File restored.  Clear 
  18.                                 enhanced to clear in either direction.

  20. UNIQUE FEATURES:       Permits custom interrogation of the operator.  
  21.                        Reports, via the Errorlevel, volume labels, 
  22.                            directory names, video mode, time, date.  
  23.                        Allows timed pauses, sound effects.

  25.                        These and many other functions are collected 
  26.                        into a single program, complete with on-line 
  27.                        help, for simplicity and space conservation.

  30. LIMITATIONS:           Files to be modified may not exceed 40 k.
  31.                        Programming skills required.
  32.                        May not be compatible with some TSR's or
